Exterior corten sheet metal claddings

For a hotel in Mestre, in the province of Venice, Deltabi was responsible for the construction and installation of steel cladding for outdoor use. Corten sheets for a height of 34.00 m and a total surface of about 1.000 sqm. The choice fell on sheet metal panels for corten steel roofing. This type of cladding gives novelty and modernity to the building as well as greater durability and resistance over time. In fact, this material protects itself from electrochemical corrosion through a transparent surface patina that forms under certain conditions. On the sides of the building the panels are blind, while in the central part holes have been drilled allowing the passage of light to the rooms concerned. The facade cladding was installed as "natural", only after a light sandblasting, that is an abrasive treatment of the metal surface, while the oxidation of the panels was achieved naturally.
